Overview
About this park
Abernethy Creek formed Oregon City's original northern boundary — the town's earliest settlers built on the narrow strip of land between Willamette Falls and this creek, with Singer Hill Bluff rising to the east.
Setting
Landscape & setting
The park occupies a former sawmill site where the creek passes through a residential neighborhood, and while it remains largely undeveloped, the Greater Oregon City Watershed Council has worked since 2004 removing invasive species and replanting native vegetation in the riparian corridor.
