Amenities & facilities
Aldrich Park is important because it provides a space for recreation and community gatherings. It serves as a safe and enjoyable area for families and individuals to spend time outdoors. The park's features, such as the playground and sports facilities, encourage physical activity and social interaction among residents.
The playground at Aldrich Park will receive upgrades as part of the Safety and Livability Bond that Salem voters approved in November 2022. These upgrades will take place throughout the city starting in fiscal year 2023 and continuing through fiscal year 2032.
