Arts Plaza

Gresham's Arts Plaza began taking shape in 2009 as the centerpiece of a downtown core revitalization, transforming the block at NE Second Street into an open-air civic venue that holds up to 3,100 people.

Seattle artist Claudia Fitch's "Fine Tuned Tulle" installation gives the plaza its artistic identity — four pillars shaped as a paintbrush, trumpet, fountain pen, and tutu, each representing a different discipline.

Summer concerts, the annual Gresham Arts Festival, and private event rentals keep the space active year-round.

The Children's Fountain, added in 2014, serves as a daytime splash pad and runs an automated choreographed light-and-water show at night, built using salvaged materials from the original site.
