Atfalati is the name of the Native American Kalapuyan tribe that once occupied the Tualatin River watershed. The name was often shortened to Tualati or Tualatin.

There are two playgrounds (one for pre-school age and another for five years and older), basketball courts, tennis courts, and sports fields among the facilities available at Atfalati Park.

The ball field is available for reservation through the Parks and Recreation Department at 503-691-3061 or in person at 8513 SW Tualatin Road during normal business hours.
