About this park

Beaverton Creek Wetlands Natural Area is a 15-acre wetland in Beaverton's Five Oaks/Triple Creek neighborhood, located just north of SouthWest Tualatin Valley Highway, west of SouthWest 153rd Dr.

Visitors may see great blue herons, belted kingfishers, and birds of prey flying overhead.

Setting

Landscape & setting

Johnston Creek flows from the south into the natural area and merges with Beaverton Creek as it heads toward nearby Tualatin Hills Nature Park . Mt.

Hood is often visible to the east. Beaverton Creek Wetlands is a popular location for bird and wildlife watching.

Beaverton Creek Wetlands Natural Area can be accessed from SW 153rd Ave, just north of SW T-V Hwy.
