Blue Heron Community Park is 24 acres. Because of changes during the 1997 flood, a majority of the site is in the Bear Creek floodway.

Access & hours
Facilities include two playgrounds, restrooms, a gazebo, access to the Bear Creek Greenway, a pollinator garden, and a sand volleyball court.
The volleyball court is first come, first served, and use is limited to one hour when others are waiting. Park reservations and maintenance: Public Works, (541) 535-1955 ext.
