About this park
From its point of entry, to its culmination on the bluff, C hetco Point Park affords its visitors incredible views of the Pacific Ocean, Port of Brookings-Harbor, Macklyn Cove and more.
Still visible are pilings and rock portions of the old wharf where the first locomotive and rail cars were brought into Brookings.
With its tide pools, sandy beaches, meandering foliage-covered path, wooden bridge and panoramic 360 degree views, a trip to the Point never disappoints.
Make your way to the point and enjoy the "Two Rivers and the Heart of the Ocean" sculpture.

Lush foliage is abundant and wild flowers flourish from April through October.

Picnic tables are available in the park area which is also ADA accessible. The trail winds its way up to the bluff where panoramic views await!
