About this park

City Park, next to McMinnville's historic downtown, was the city's first park and was built in 1906. It has a 10,000-square-foot wooden play structure for ages 2 to 12.

The Aquatic Center, Public Library, and Soper Fountain are in the park.

Amenities & facilities

Cozine Creek runs through the lower park, which also has picnic areas, play equipment for ages 6 to 12, and pickleball and tennis courts.

The city page says picnic tables were removed from Lower City Park until spring 2026 for maintenance.

Dogs are not allowed in the upper park, including the fountain and library entries; leashed dogs are allowed only in the lower park.
