Veterans’ Park

Veterans’ Park is the central focus for Sherwood’s Festivals – Arts and Crafts Fairs, Cruisin’ Sherwood, and the Robin Hood Festival. It is surrounded by large trees.

The person or group (for example, a specific military unit or ship) honored on the brick does not have to be a Sherwood resident.

However, the message or name must relate to a veteran, living or deceased, as well as anyone currently serving in the military.

Forms can be found below under “Supporting Documents”. The City of Sherwood reserves the right to reject any submissions which are deemed inappropriate.

Note: Bricks will be placed in Veterans Park twice a year, Spring placement (mid-May) you must have your order in by February 1st and fall placement (mid-October) you must have your order in by August 1st, weather permitting.

Benches and picnic tables allow for small group activities. Commemorative Brick Program We are excited to announce our Commemorative Brick Program at Veterans’ Park.

The bricks will serve as a lasting memorial. They can be purchased to honor someone who has served or is currently serving in the military.
