In spring 2019 the City of Gresham began a concept planning process for six undeveloped parks, and the July 2020 plan for Columbia View proposed a sports pitch, community garden, dog park, pathways, two picnic shelters, and a viewpoint.

3 million Oregon Department of Transportation Community Paths Program grant is funding construction of a multi-use path through the site, the first concrete step toward the broader vision.
